This Privacy Policy describes how PETSCHOICE.CLUB processes the personal data of people who visit the petschoiceclub.pl online store, place orders, contact us, or use our services.

2. What Personal Data We May Collect
Depending on how you use our store, we may process the following personal data:
- identification and contact details, such as your first name, surname, delivery address, billing address, email address, and telephone number;
- order and payment information, such as purchased products, order value, payment method, payment status, and information about returns, exchanges, and complaints;
- customer account data, if an account has been created;
- data relating to contact with us, including the content of messages, requests, complaints, and responses;
- technical data and information about the use of the website, such as IP address, online identifiers, device type, browser type, operating system, language settings, source of website access, activity on the website, and data stored in cookies and similar technologies.
PETSCHOICE.CLUB does not have access to complete payment card details and does not store them on its own servers. Payments are processed by external, specialised payment service providers.
3. Sources of Data
We obtain personal data:
- directly from you when you place an order, contact us, create a customer account, or otherwise provide us with data;
- automatically when you use the website, including through cookies and similar technologies;
- from entities that cooperate with us in the provision of payments, deliveries, technical support, analytics, and marketing activities, where necessary for the provision of services or permitted under the legal basis for processing.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing
We process personal data only where we have an appropriate legal basis to do so.

a) Processing orders, payments, deliveries, returns, exchanges, and complaints
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or taking steps at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract.
b) Contacting you in matters related to your order, customer service, or responding to your enquiry
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in ensuring efficient communication and customer service.
c) Maintaining accounting records, tax settlements, document archiving, and fulfilling legal obligations
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject.
d) Pursuing claims, defending against claims, preventing abuse and fraud, and ensuring the security of the store
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest.
e) Direct marketing of our own products and services
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest; where separate consent is required, also Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

In particular, we use the services of Shopify, payment service providers, courier companies, Google, and Meta to the extent necessary to operate the store, fulfil orders, conduct analytics, and marketing activities — in accordance with the appropriate legal basis.
7. Transfers of Data Outside the EEA
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area.
In such cases, we ensure that data transfers are carried out in accordance with the law, in particular on the basis of:

- the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal;
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
In connection with the use of analytics and marketing tools, we may analyse user behaviour, interests, or the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Such activities may constitute profiling within the meaning of the GDPR.
We do not make decisions concerning you that are based solely on automated processing and that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.
11. Children’s Data
Our store and services are not directed specifically at children.
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data without the required legal basis. If we learn that a child’s data has been provided without the required consent of a legal guardian, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
